Lip scrubs are a salvation when you need to apply matte lipstick, and your lips are chapped and cracked from the autumn wind. It began to be used in ancient Greece: the softness of the lips was given with the help of crushed fruit seeds.
When choosing, pay attention to the particles: they should not be too large and rigid. The skin on the lips is very delicate and soft, and a hard lip scrub injures it even more. The composition should also contain oils: they will restore and nourish the skin of the lips and replace the oily balm.
You can apply the lip scrub directly to dry lips. If you want a more delicate scrubbing, first press a hot towel or a cotton pad to your lips. Rub the lip scrub into the skin with very light massaging movements with your fingertips. And remove the leftovers with a towel (or eat if the scrub is natural).
Use a lip scrub a couple of times a week (no more — otherwise damage the skin of the lips) — or just before an important permanent makeup. After the scrub, moisten your lips with a balm, wait for full absorption — and you can apply lipstick.
