No more skin irritation after shaving – here’s how!!!

When you shave, your skin is put under great stress creating not only exfoliation and dryness but also the possibility of tie rash. These are common results from shaving.

The following procedures are recommended for optimum effect to minimise the stress to your skin:

1. Shave after your bath or shower when your facial hairs are soft and stand away from the skin.

2. Always use shaving cream for sensitive skin. Definitely no soap!!

3. When you shave the same area twice, be sure to reapply cream.

4. Shave in the direction of your hair growth.

5. Use short, light strokes.

6. Rinse with cold water and pat dry.

Always use after shave lotion which is formulated especially for this reason. The lotion or moisturiser should not contain other ingredients which can increase skin irritation. If you have sensitive skin, always make sure the cream or lotion contains Aloe or other ingredients which will soothe and relax the shaving area. Kirra uses only 100% natural ingredients and the aluminium container is used to ensure that your product has a longer shelf life.
